An important STEP: And finally…DON’T GET SCAMMED!! A common question: Is it true that there are companies out there that you can pay to help you with credit problems????? 
There are, indeed, companies out there, called “credit repair companies”. They claim they can improve your credit score for you… for a small fee of course. PLEASE avoid these agencies as they tend to be SCAMS. Their main objective is to hound credit bureaus with disputes so that they can clear your credit report of negative instance. While it may seem like a quick and easy way to improve your credit score, this process does not have a high success rate. In general there is no such thing as a fast credit fix.
