On Thursday, July 14th, Thousands of mourners arrived at the Cathedral of St. Paul under the grand dome to pay their respects. While dozens of mourners lined the sidewalk Castile’s casket arrived on a horse-drawn carriage and some people had even joined in the forty minute procession.  The skies were dark…it looked like rain. There was a mixture of age, race and gender who attended the funeral but the message was one of solidarity. The ceremony swayed from uplifting and spirit raising Baptist preaching to the standing rituals of the Catholic Church. Local dignitaries including St. Paul’s Mayor, a Congressman and two U.S. Senators. Rev John Ubel stated that the mourners have gathered “as people UNITED in the HOPE that God intends the FUTURE to be better than the present.”…
