Snack:
10 saltines (20 saltines for males)
OR…Rice cake with:
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup fortified soymilk
OR… 1½ cups air-popped popcorn (2 cups for adult males)
Dinner:
Tofu and veggie Thai noodles made with:
1/5-block tofu
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
¼ cup chunky peanut butter
1 cup pasta
1 cup frozen mustard greens, cooked
Dessert:
½ cup canned peaches (1 cup peaches for males)
1 crushed ginger snap (2 crushed ginger snaps for males) to sprinkle over peaches
(Add 4 ounces soymilk for males.)
~Again, this is just ONE example of a typical day’s meal plan…there is a plethora of food available to us everyday and it is no more expensive than the “typical” meat diet. Remember this: Meat is expensive to “grow”…these meat companies need to make theirt money too…who is paying their profits? You are, that’s who! So forget the whole “It’s expensive to be a vegan” argument…Do a little research and live a healthier more productive more FEEL GOOD life! Start NOW!
