He worked in the Nutrition Service Department since he was 19 years old. A definite role model to HUNDREDS of kids, who called him “Mr. Phil”, he memorized the names of these 500 children he served every day, along with their food allergies.
Two years ago he was promoted to a supervisor position and was currently working at the school for the summer session. His co-workers all agreed that he was overqualified for his job but his heart and soul kept him happily taking his position very seriously. He fed these children…everyday…and these children looked up to him with utmost respect.
It is way past disappointment.
