~After the ceremony the casket was placed back on the hosre-drawn carriage and Philandro was taken away for a private burial. Just before the departure a black man and a white woman reached across the casket together and arranged an array of red and white roses.
~Upon leaving the cathedral the Paulbearers raised their fists to the skies~
